This is our go-to for a quick dessert for holidays, cookouts, parties, or whatever. It is quick and easy but very very good.
- 20 Graham crackers, crushed
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 cup powder sugar
- 1 -8oz pkg cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
Combine graham crackers and stick of butter and pat into bottom 9×13 pan and set aside.
Blend together pwd sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla. Spread into pan on top of crust.
Spread 1 container of Cool Whip on top and then spread 2 can of cherry pie filling on top.
Refrigerate and Enjoy!!!!!

HomeMade Carrot Cake
Carrot cake is a classic. I have a great recipe for carrot cake. This is one of my favorite cakes and favorite recipes.
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 cup flour
- 3 cup grated carrots
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup pecans
Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs. Beat until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture. Add carrots and pecans. Mix well.
Pour into 3 round greased pans.
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
Let cool thoroughly.
- 8oz cream cheese
- 1/2 stick oleo
- 2 tsp vanilla
Cream together and add 1# powder sugar.
Apply icing to cake, layering the together.
